(Please be sure to check the contestants pages after posting to be sure your entry is posted correctly.)

**Prizes must be claimed from the sponsors within 2 weeks of

the announcement of winners or will be subject to forfeiture.

Sponsor prizes are discounts or gifts that we accept from pageant and/or beauty related businesses. They are strictly bonuses and should be viewed as such.
(Sponsors are responsible for their donations.) *Snail mailed packages in the "Official Prize Packages" are the prizes that the contest is liable for; however, we cannot accept any responsibilty for damage to prizes that occurs during the shipping process.
*Judges' decisions are final.

No entry file will be started for a contestant until the fee is received. If you have won a free entry through sponsorship, please send details in the box marked "Total" on the entry form.

Numbers on the homepage of the site indicate relative entry numbers. The numbers are updated as the entries are accepted, but the updates stop on the day of the deadline. Entries received on the last day of the competition are not reflected in the entry numbers posted on the homepage.

Scoring & Details:

We do select different judges for the different contests. We cannot reveal the judges' identities or their votes. The results of the contest reflect the way the judges vote. *Each judge will be asked to submit his or her 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice for each paid competition category. The scoring factors for GRAND and Division Supreme will be based on the following (in order of importance) *Facial Beauty *Photogenic Appeal *Quality of Photo *The votes will determine the placing of the winners. The votes will be based on an Overall impression of each contestant with the scoring factors being the main consideration for each vote. The only categories that are judged by the official panel are the paid categories (Division, Grand, and Overall Optionals). The Free Beauty Awards contest is strictly a bonus competition designed to recognize each contestant for her own unique beauty. At times, the Beauty Awards will be judged by a separate panel, and at other times, they will be Director's Choice awards (depending upon the number of contestants entered).

* We may also choose to split age divisions for Beauty Awards if there are several contestants in a divsion.

*All fees submitted are non-refundable.

*Photos for contestants under the age of 6 should have been taken within 1 year of the contest deadline.

If a contestant's birthdate falls between the starting date and deadline of the contest, the contestant may either enter the division for the age she will be at the contest deadline or the division she was at the beginning of the contest.

*Please allow up to 4 weeks for the delivery of snail mail prizes.

*Winners grant the Baby Doll Beauty Boutique the right to use their image for promotional purposes.

In the case of a Natural Pic theme: Contestants may not submit pro pageant (done by a photographer who shoots glitz pageant photos) or retouched photos. If a photo is suspected of being retouched, the contestant will be contacted to confirm whether or not the photo in question has had work done. The contestant will be given the opportunity to correct the entry. If the photo still shows obvious signs of retouching, the judges will likely choose a different contestant for the main competition titles. PLEASE DO NOT send retouched photos for the natural competition. Breaking this rule is grounds for relinquishment of titles and prizes without refund. Frames or vignettes added by portrait studios are not considered "retouching", though a photo may be cropped for posting purposes. *A Grand winner may enter the following month's contest with any photo other than her winning photo from the previous month. A Grand winner may enter her winning photo in the contest after a 1 contest waiting period. For example: A Jan/Feb GRAND may enter her winning photo in the May/June competition.

A contestant MUST BE ENTERED IN GRAND to qualify for the Grand Prize Package. *Awarded certificates may not be combined. Each certificate may be applied to a single order only from the boutique or vendor. Certificates expire 2 weeks after the announcement of winners.

*Winners will be posted on the website on the 22nd of each month unless otherwise posted on the homepage.

*We accept entries from international contestants, but if the contestant wins a mailed prize package, she must provide a US address to which we can ship her package, or pay additional international S&H fees for any mailed prizes.

New Rule Beginning June 21, 2009:

**PLEASE NOTE** If there are exactly 4 (5 - if the Grand is pulled from this division) contestants in a division, only the Supreme and Mini-Supreme categories will be judged. The 2 remaining contestants will receive the queen titles. (This rule is intended to resolve the issue of one contestant being singled out as being the only contestant left out of the Royalty Court.)

SPONSOR PRIZES MUST BE CLAIMED FROM THE SPONSORS DIRECTLY. WE CANNOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILTY FOR THE REDEMPTION OF SPONSOR PRIZES. IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS CLAIMING A PRIZE, PLEASE REPORT IT TO OUR OFFICES SO THAT WE CAN CONTACT THE SPONSOR AND/OR REMOVE THE PRIZE FROM OUR SPONSOR LIST.
